Mountain Maternity Session - Airdrie and Calgary Maternity Photographer
This mama wanted a warm weather and a sunny day for her mountain maternity session and we have waited and waited and I thought to myself that the baby will probably be born before the weather cooperates… but luckily we’ve just made it! We had this photoshoot on a Saturday and the baby girl was born the following Friday - almost a week after the photoshoot. This mountain maternity session was hot and sunny and full of love. This beautiful family is now complete with all the children being 7 1/2 years apart :-). The oldest sister has just turned 15 years old, her brother is 7 years old and now they have a brand new baby sister to love and spoil.
I love coming to Kananaskis Country for maternity photoshoots - I love seeing how the nature transforms each season. Last time I was in this location, the snow was still covering the ground and it was only a few months ago. It is amazing how fast the weather changes in Alberta, Canada. It could be cold and snowy one day and hot and sunny the next one. In fact they have a saying here: “If you don’t like the weather, wait 5 minutes”
